Witches And Warlocks: the “Targets” List

Evil is Coming, and a great deal of Archers has risen to fight against it.

On Sunday the 30th of October, on Corus’ Battlefield, in Shotton, Witches And Warlocks will gather to excel in their magical art, one of the most supreme exquisite and elegant among all mystical skills: Archery.

Here is the: Target List

The day will see a number of awards being assigned.

Only one Witch and one Warlock will be elected as the true winner of the year, regardless of their experience and awarded a Magical Seal to boost their power (based on pumpkins hit).

(some of the awards)

Best dresses will be named, by the High Wizards Council and the Scariest, the Most Detailed and the Most Original.

The standard Tournament Rules will also decree 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as usually happens, in the form of Starlight, Fire and Water Witches or Warlocks – or Apprentices if you are shooting a 20mt round.

How do you record scores?

It’s a standard metric scoring – but if you hit a pumpkin, count it as a 9, and mark under the column “P” the number of pumpkins you hit on that end (end of 3 arrows).

The only “extra tournament” rule is in fact the number of Pumpkins hit will determine the Witch and the Warlock of the year.  To make it fare towards less technological bows,  a multiplier will be applied to the total number of pumpkins hit and the special calculation explained here will determine the winners.

Archers may choose to go for the Pumpkins, instead of the usual scores, so the Outcome is unpredictable.

Who will the winners be?

PS: dont’ forget the Witching Hour on the last Sunday of October – all clocks will magically jump a hour backward and you will have to wake up sooner than usual.

Can’t wait to see,
Angelo
