The generous efforts of our superb committee has brought to life an additional location for the indoor shooting. Thanks to Pete and Gareth, we have confirmed a new range at the Scouts base in Connah’s Quay.
Last winter Jim Nichols, a founding member of Corus Deeside Archery Club (formerly British Steel Archery Club), sadly passed away.
Jim was a passionate archer who introduced generations of archers to the sport during his lifetime. Without Jim, our group would not exist.
To celebrate Jim’s life and many achievements in archery, and ensure that new and etablished archers alike know his history and that of the club he helped mould, Corus Deeside Archery Club have created the Jim Nichols Memorial League.
The league will start in the 2019-20 indoor season, and club members will shoot several rounds over the the next five months to compete for the Jim Nichols Memorial Shield.
Jim, we hope you approve.
The indoor season is upon us!
We’ll gather (almost) every sunday morning in Connah’s Quay at Coleg Cambria with a renewed and exciting schedule.
